Tony Caccomo

Tony is CEO of FH and tactical to strategic development, marketing and financing. He is responsible for the direction of all future land development, facilities, market expansions and macro-marketing functions.

Tony began his career in real estate specializing in commercial, industrial and investment properties, and owned his own brokerage, development and management business soon thereafter.  He was involved in the brokerage, financing, acquisition and development of more than 200 million dollars of real property.  He undertook advanced collegiate training in real estate and industrial development.

Tony started in New York then moved to Chicago to work for one of the largest real estate firms in the Midwest–Baird & Warner, Inc.  He was the leader in sales volume for commercial/investment property for several years, and became an officer in the Investment Division and continued as Vice President of the Development Division.  He oversaw a team of six and a divisional budget in excess of $1 million. He supervised more than 350 apartment units for condominium conversion for Baird & Warner.  Tony served as President of the Illinois Chapter, of the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute, a division of the National Association of Realtors.

Tony went on to set up his own development, management, financing, leasing and management companies in the Greater Chicagoland area.  They bought and converted more than 300 apartments into condominiums in the Chicagoland area.  In addition, they bought and redeveloped almost 500,000 square feet of commercial space in properties in Chicago and Missouri.  They also acquired, renovated and sold more than 400 apartments in Kentucky and Indiana. Tony was also involved in the manufacturing and development of almost 50 BOCA-code modular homes in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Tony opened a gourmet food company (Antonio’s Gourmet) and marketed to various retail locations in Illinois and extended direct sales of those products from New York to Iowa.  He settled in Decatur in 2010, purchasing My Shipping Place on Pershing Road.  He is currently a member of the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce.
